UnionRobot Automation recently completed the installation and training of two advanced KUKA 7-axis milling robots equipped with 10-meter linear tracks for a customer in Brazil.

As part of our comprehensive overseas service commitment, our experienced engineering team traveled to Brazil to provide on-site installation, commissioning, operator training, and after-sales technical support.

Professional Installation Tailored to Customer Requirements

Before installation, our engineers carefully evaluated the customer's workshop layout, available space, and production requirements. Based on the dimensions of the robots and the 10-meter linear tracks, a customized equipment arrangement was developed to maximize operational efficiency while ensuring safe and convenient workflow management.

Each robotic milling system required approximately 3–6 days for complete installation, mechanical assembly, calibration, and commissioning.

Comprehensive Training for Efficient Production

Following installation, our engineers conducted hands-on training sessions covering:

• Robot operation and safety procedures
• KUKA robot programming fundamentals
• Milling process setup and optimization
• Tool calibration and maintenance
• Daily troubleshooting and preventive maintenance

After approximately two working days of intensive training, the customer's operators were able to independently operate and program the robotic milling systems.
