Recently, the customized wooden crafts processing project for our Bulgarian customer has completed production and pre-shipment inspection. The customer ordered a milling robot system, mainly used for wooden crafts, wood carving products, decorative parts, furniture components, and irregular wooden workpieces.

At the beginning of the project, the customer had clear requirements for working range, workpiece size, loading capacity, machining angles, and production efficiency. After several rounds of technical communication, we finally recommended the KR210-2900 7 axis robot together with an 8-ton heavy-duty rotary positioner. This solution can meet the customer’s needs for multi-angle milling, carving, and complex surface processing of large wooden workpieces.

Compared with traditional wood CNC machines, the 7 axis robot milling system offers much higher flexibility. The robot can approach the workpiece from different directions, making it suitable for complex curved surfaces, 3D shapes, deep grooves, and irregular wooden products. With the 8-ton rotary table, the workpiece can be rotated and positioned steadily during machining, which greatly expands the processing range and improves production efficiency.

Before shipment, this robot milling machine for wood completed a full inspection, including robot motion testing, rotary table coordination, machining path verification, system stability testing, and safety function checks. After the inspection, we sent the testing video to the customer for confirmation. The customer was satisfied with the machine performance and said they look forward to further cooperation after receiving the robot.

A milling robot brings clear advantages to wooden crafts processing. For wood carving, artistic decorations, furniture parts, and customized wooden products, manual processing often depends heavily on operator experience.
