First of all, the robot's control cabinet is driven by a servo motor, that is, there is a frequency converter, so the frequency converter cannot use a leakage protection type circuit breaker. It is not safe to use a circuit breaker with a leakage protector for the frequency converter equipment, because the working principle of the leakage protector is to judge and protect against electrical faults by detecting the leakage current in the circuit. When the frequency converter equipment is working, it will generate high-frequency noise, power loss and other factors, which may cause the leakage protector to malfunction or fail, and fail to achieve normal electrical protection. In addition, when the frequency converter equipment is working, due to frequency changes and modulation and PWM of the output signal, a large peak current will be generated, and the rated leakage action current of the leakage protector is between tens of mA and hundreds of mA. It is difficult to adapt to the changes in these peak currents, which may cause the leakage protector to be in action or unable to act, thereby losing its due protection function. Therefore, when selecting electrical protection devices for frequency converter equipment, it is recommended to use special frequency converter protectors or contact protectors, which can better adapt to the special performance of frequency converter equipment and ensure the safe and reliable operation of the equipment.
